My name is Heather Von St James. I am a committed mother and wife, and also a five-year survivor of a deadly cancer known as mesothelioma. Cancer came into my life just three short months after my one and only child arrived. After five and a half years of fighting cancer and also finding time to be the best mother I can, I feel it is my duty to share my story as a resource for parents and also to raise the knowledge of parenthood while dealing with cancer.
